The Director of IT Operations will help lead the strategic and operational direction of our client services and multimedia teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering continuous improvement in support of the UCR School of Medicine and UCR Health. This role champions business priorities, optimizes resource allocation, and drives performance within a dynamic, cross-functional environment. The ideal candidate has 6-10 years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably within a healthcare environment, and a proven track record in managing IT operations for clinical services. Expertise in hardware and software lifecycle in a healthcare setting. Strong expertise in cloud security, cloud computing integration, information architecture, web services security, and healthcare IT systems is essential. An in-depth understanding of HIPAA and other relevant regulations is required. This position is classified as hybrid with 3 days on-site and 2 days remote. The full salary range for the Operations Manager is $100,100 to $190,500 annually. However, the pay scale for this position is UP TO $175,000 annually. UCR bases salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, UCR is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a university employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
