Heartbeat Health is seeking a Director of IT & Security to join our team!

Responsibilities


    • Analyze departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions

    • Assist senior leadership in determining long-term direction of IT organization
    • Manage Help Desk Operations: Provide IT support to remote employees across the country; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, and connectivity; and manage the helpdesk system and ensure timely resolution of tickets.
    • Manage company-wide software licensing, installations, and updates.
    • Oversee procurement, distribution, and maintenance of laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals for remote staff.
    • Help design and deliver on device management/MDM across workforce’s machines
    • Partner with HR, and other parts of the organization, to on-board and off-board contractors and employees
    • Identify areas for process improvement, automation, and optimization within the help desk, striving for increased efficiency and effectiveness
    • Provide training to employees & contractors on IT policies, best practices, and security protocols.
    • Stay updated on the latest remote work technologies and trends to improve company operations.
    • Coordinate with third-party vendors for software, hardware, and IT service needs.
    • Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
    • Manage implementation of VPN, MDM, and other endpoint monitoring tools, analyze device performance metrics, and proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure optimal performance across multiple OSs and platforms
    • Implement and enforce endpoint network security best practices, conduct regular security audits, and ensure workforce compliance with industry standards and regulations in cooperation with Engineering and Security/Compliance.
    • Control budget and report on IT expenditures: Determine future resource requirements for the IT organization
