As the Director of IT, you’ll have a dynamic and critical role leading VOAMASS's technology operations in support of mission-critical behavioral health, housing, veteran, and justice-involved services. This role combines strategic vision with day-to-day operational leadership, ensuring that VOAMASS's technology environment is secure, reliable, compliant, and aligned with the organization’s mission This role is about making a difference in the lives of the people we serve. You’ll bring the following qualifications: Have a BS in Computer Science or business degree Have 10+ years of experience working in an information technology environment and 5+ years of Technology Leadership in a nonprofit organization Possess a deep understanding of current and emerging IT infrastructure and operations, technologies and practices. Ability to be a “super user” and demonstrate best practices in all technology related areas Be collaborative in nature and possess the qualities of leadership, patience and flexibility. Have strong communication skills and high emotional intelligence. Proven track record of developing multi-year plans that aligns technology priorities with business operations in support of achieving operational effectiveness Proficient in M365 and other solutions tools Knowledge of nonprofit, behavioral health, healthcare operations Some of your critical responsibilities: Manage and maintain the technology infrastructure for all VOAMASS offices and locations. Coordinate with the organization’s Managed Service Provider (MSP) to manage networking, security, and user support Support business systems, groupware and other applications / solutions that are used by departments and service functions Support the organization’s public website including adding new functionality and content to support communication to residents and stakeholders Develop / enforce security policies and procedures and coordinate with third party vendors to ensure that digital security and data is protected. Oversee / support audio visual (AV) technologies that support VOAMASS communications and other meetings / events Manage and maintain voice and communications systems that support business operations Oversees data management functions including supporting departmental requests for resident and other data Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements (i.e., HIPAA, PII), internal technology policies, and other operational guidelines Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within technology environments Develop and maintain operating plans and technology budgets that align with organizational needs Perform other duties and projects as assigned by Chief Financial Officer and the Fractional Chief Information Officer Since 1934, VOAMASS has provided critical services to the residents of the Commonwealth.
