Now, we’re looking for top-tier talent to help shape the future of strength training. Are you in? To support our expansion, we're looking for a Director of Legal to join our team in Tel-Aviv. This is a senior, high-impact position that will work closely with leadership and play a central role in shaping and safeguarding amp’s legal strategy across the U.S. and Israel. To Apply Please provide None What You’ll Do Oversee and ensure compliance with US regulations, particularly for B2C consumer data (CCPA and state-level privacy laws), COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Rule), CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission), and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Advise and manage FTC compliance related to marketing practices, including email marketing, SMS, telemarketing, digital advertising, influencer marketing disclosures, and subscription auto-renewal policies. Draft, negotiate, and review commercial agreements, primarily including marketing agreements (such as influencers and affiliates), manufacturing contracts, SaaS vendor agreements, lease agreements in the US and Israel, and B2B partnerships. Manage data protection compliance, policies, and documents across the various relevant jurisdictions. Lead the legal function and manage our legal team, ensuring strategic alignment and effective execution. Manage relationships with external counsels across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring effective and cost-efficient outcomes. Manage the company’s policies: Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Warranty Policy. Manage corporate governance activities, including investment agreements, option agreements, board resolutions, and corporate documentation. Handle employment contracts and related HR legal matters in both the US and Israel. Provide legal support to the Product and IT/CISO teams, ensuring the company's websites and applications adhere to relevant legal requirements and best practices. Oversee insurance matters, including product liability, general liability, cyber liability, and directors and officers' insurance. Proactively manage legal risks, identifying key issues, prioritizing effectively, and presenting clear legal analyses and practical solutions to stakeholders. Requirements None What We’re Looking For Licensed attorney, preferably with experience practicing in both the US and Israeli jurisdictions. 10+ years of post-qualification legal experience, including top-tier law firm background and in-house counsel roles. Proven track record (10+ years) managing diverse legal issues, with strong experience in commercial and compliance laws, and Risk management. Previous experience working in-house at a technology-driven, consumer-focused company is an advantage. Strong business acumen, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to provide strategic and actionable legal advice. Proven experience in managing and developing a legal team.
