The Director of Legal is the council’s chief legal officer, responsible for all legal services, ensuring legal compliance, and leading the governance and Democratic Services functions.
As our Monitoring Officer, you will safeguard Members and Officers from legal risk and upholds the Council’s reputation. The Director oversees legal proceedings, manages external legal providers, and ensures efficient use of inhouse resources to support our goals and ambitions.
