Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Director of Luxury Consortia Sales is responsible for developing, managing, and growing partnerships with luxury travel consortia, preferred agency networks, and key luxury travel partners to drive incremental revenue for the Raffles Sentosa Singapore property. This role involves cultivating strong relationships with global and regional agency contacts, positioning the hotel as a preferred luxury choice, ensuring participation in relevant programs, and maximising business opportunities from these channels

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:

  • Strong network within the luxury travel industry is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of GDS is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in luxury hotel sales, preferably with consortia or travel trade focus
Responsibilities
  1. Relationship & Account Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all luxury consortia and preferred partner accounts.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision makers and influencers within the luxury travel segment.
  • Schedule regular account visits, sales calls, and participation in events to strengthen relationships and grow revenue.
  1. Business Development
  • Identify new consortia and luxury agency partnership opportunities that align with Raffles Sentosa’s positioning.
  • Secure participation in high value consortia programs and negotiate preferred agreements where beneficial.
  • Analyse account potential and implement targeted sales activities to maximise market share.
  1. Marketing & Program Participation
  • Ensure Raffles Sentosa is fully represented in all luxury consortia marketing channels, including print, digital, and training platforms.
  • Coordinate participation in annual RFPs (Request for Proposal) and negotiate preferred rates and amenities.
  • Work with marketing & communications department to create bespoke promotions and campaigns for consortia partners.
  1. Sales Performance & Reporting
  • Set, monitor, and achieve annual revenue goals for the consortia segment.
  • Track production of all consortia accounts and provide regular reporting and analysis to management.
  • Monitor ROI of consortia program participation and adjust strategy accordingly.
  1. Training & Internal Communication
  • Conduct regular training for reservations, front office, and sales teams on luxury consortia programs and client expectations.
  • Share market intelligence and trends from the luxury travel segment to guide business strategy.
  1. Representation & Networking
  • Represent Raffles Sentosa at international luxury trade shows, consortia events, and networking functions (e.g., Virtuoso Travel Week, ILTM, Signature Travel Network, etc.).
  • Organise and host familiarisation trips (FAMs) and client events to showcase the property.
