At Borealis Hotel Group, we are looking for a Director of Maintenance(m/w/d) to join our team. You will be the key contact for technical operations and developments across our hotel portfolio.

QUALIFIKATIONEN & SKILLS

We’re looking for someone who is both technically skilled and strategically minded—someone who thrives in a dynamic hotel environment and enjoys working with people and systems alike.

  • Several years of experience in a senior technical or engineering position, ideally in hospitality
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations and safety standards
  • Experienced in contract management, budgeting, and project coordination
  • Proactive communicator with strong organizational skills
Responsibilities
  • You will act as a contact person between head office, hotel management, and property owners, ensuring the maintenance and technical performance of our buildings is always at the highest level
  • Your focus will be on strategic planning, budgeting, contract management, and optimizing energy efficiency, while also supporting and developing the technical teams on site
  • You will support the preparation and control of the budget for maintenance and checking the service charge settlement
  • You will be supporting hiring and improving the technical services of the building services departments
  • Control of energy consumption in the hotels s. Responsible for measures to reduce energy consumption and control of the self-sufficient online portals
  • Escalation level as contact person for all service providers in the building services department in the event of difficulties in contract fulfilment or quality deficiencies
