In order to continually promote and create innovative products that support our vision we are currently seeking a Director of Manufacturing.
The Director of Manufacturing provides leadership, strategic planning and direction for the respective factory, so that manufacturing operations are carried out in an efficient and profitable manner and according to company standards and regulatory requirements.
Facilitates/effects positive changes in operations and the factory organization. This position directs, develops, implements, publicizes, and administers manufacturing strategies and objectives to ensure the achievement of organization’s goals and objectives.
Directs the manufacturing operations in conjunction with business growth, introduction of new systems, meeting organizational financial objectives, and meeting organizational goals in relation to safety, quality, and timely delivery of products or services, as well as building organizational capability and employee engagement.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience of leading a large production organization is required, with proven results in achieving manufacturing efficiency and building a capable and engaged organization.
  • Extensive and proven experience in manufacturing sector and understanding of complex operation organization. Ability to deliver in a complex operating model, that includes leading and collaborating within national and global matrix functional structures.
  • Strong knowledge of Compliance Management – cGMP, technical operations, and FDA compliant quality management systems within manufacturing environment
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire people to reach production goals.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex operational site data to make informed strategic decisions about progress and need for change of strategy.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively convey priorities and collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Financial Acumen: Proficiency in financial planning and resource allocation.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address production challenges and implement effective solutions.
  • Project Management: Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring timely completion
Responsibilities
  • Safety and Sustainability: Ensure deployment of safety and sustainability systems and policies. Direct activities so that the factory is managed in a safe manner which complies with all state and federal regulations and company standards, and environmental requirements are met.
  • Quality: Ensure deployment of quality management system to guarantee that product integrity is maintained and that quality meets/exceeds customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
  • Strategic Planning: Establish a clear direction and strategy for the manufacturing site. This includes setting safety and quality, production, cost and organizational objectives, long-term growth plans, loss elimination and resource efficiency targets.
  • Continuous Improvement: Deploy continuous improvement system to ensure effective resources management, consistent loss elimination and increasing productivity. Encourage continuous improvement and innovation in manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
  • Capability development: Lead, coach and develop a high-performance factory organization. Ensure that organizational structure, people and processes fully support the achievement of manufacturing objectives. Develop management/factory personnel to provide career growth and succession planning.
  • Policy Implementation: Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Crisis Management: Ensure business contingency planning and manage emergencies such as equipment failures, supply chain disruptions, or safety incidents.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with employees, suppliers, customers, the local community, and union representatives (as applicable), to build strong relationships and ensure smooth operations.
