The Director of Marketing, Admissions and Communications is responsible for overseeing and promoting the profile and brand values of the School, for managing pupil recruitment to achieve our pupil targets and for leading on all internal and external communications and events. The role leads strategic initiatives to attract and retain pupils, ensures consistent and high-quality messaging and fosters strong relationships with prospective families and the wider school community.
Reporting to: Headmaster
Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, all year-round. Some flexibility may be available by discussion.

We are seeking a bold and forward-thinking Director of Marketing, Admissions and Communications to join the Senior Management Team. This is a pivotal role in shaping the school’s future, driving pupil recruitment, and elevating our brand with vision, creativity and strategic insight.
This is not a traditional marketing role. We are looking for someone with a disruptive mindset—someone who challenges convention, avoids “me-too” marketing, and brings a dynamic approach to how we present the school, engage our audiences, and grow our community. In collaboration with the Headmaster and the leadership team, this role presents an exciting opportunity to shape the strategic direction of Dunottar.
