Description

Piper Companies is seeking a Director of Marketing and Access Strategy. This position is a hybrid position and would require you to be onsite in East Windsor, NJ 4 days a week. The Director of Marketing and Access Strategy will lead the launch and market access strategy for a novel treatment, driving brand growth through strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and payer engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE DIRECTOR OF MARKETING AND ACCESS STRATEGY:

  • 8–10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, including 3–5 years in market access.
  • Experience launching products in both branded and biosimilar markets.
  • 1–2 years of HCP marketing experience is a plus.
  • Proven success working in cross-functional matrix environments and leading agency partners.
  • Strong strategic thinking, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
  • Deep understanding of U.S. regulatory and compliance guidelines for pharmaceutical promotion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive market access strategies to optimize coverage, pricing, reimbursement, and distribution across key channels and stakeholders.
  • Create compelling value propositions using clinical and economic data to support payer and provider engagement.
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs to generate HEOR data and economic models that support formulary inclusion.
  • Align with Corporate Accounts and Trade teams to ensure seamless execution of access plans.
  • Mentor and support the Product Manager in developing HCP marketing strategies and materials.
