JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: Director of Marketing
DEPARTMENT: Marketing
REPORTS TO: Chief Operations Officer

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field of study required.
• 7+ years of marketing experience required, specific experience with healthcare facilities highly preferred.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite highly preferred.
• Basic website development experience highly preferred.
• Ability to work well in both a team-based environment and an independent manner.
• Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish this job.
• Exceptional writing skills required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and multi-tasking skills required.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor, train, lead and direct the work of others.
• Must be capable of performing the essential job functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Related administrative experience at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
• Must meet all local health regulations and pass post-employment physical exam, if required. This requirement also includes drug screening, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiry.
  Physical and Sensory requirements (with or without the aid of mechanical devices): Walking, reaching, bending, lifting, grasping, fine-hand coordination, pushing and pulling; ability to communicate with residents; ability to distinguish smells and temperatures; ability to read and write; and ability to remain calm under emergency situations and while dealing with multiple tasks.

Responsible for building a creative, integrated, multi-channel marketing department that builds brand awareness and reputation, and measures the return on marketing program investments.
