Lead the work that supports sales and BD: vertical launches, positioning refreshes, and the assets that move deals forward
Manage and develop the marketing team, direct freelancers and agencies, and hold the bar on what ships
Report results to leadership, kill what isn't working, and reallocate fast
Qualifications
5 to 8 years of marketing experience, ideally at a B2B SaaS startup
Experience owning a marketing function, not just a channel or a program
Current, hands-on fluency with the modern marketing stack. Not "I've managed people who use it." You've worked with tools like HubSpot, Lovable, Figma, and Ahrefs or Semrush yourself, or close equivalents
Hands-on within the last two years. You've personally shipped marketing work recently, not just directed it
Strong taste and judgment, with the projects to prove it. You can walk us through work you owned at a startup and explain the decisions behind it
Craft-level ability in writing and a sharp eye for design. You won't be executing everything yourself, but you need to be good enough to direct people who are
Full-stack generalist. You've owned content, campaigns, and demand gen, not just one lane
A zero-to-one builder. You can walk into an empty program and ship it without supervision
A track record of shipping work that drove pipeline, not just impressions
Strong AI proficiency. You use LLMs and AI tools every day to move faster and produce more
Experience managing junior marketers and freelancers, and getting good work out of both
