Description

Easol is the leading all-in-one ‘experience commerce’ platform built to power experience businesses including festivals, wellness retreats, food and drink, sports and adventure trips. With Easol, experience businesses have complete control to drive more direct sales, retain more revenue, own their data and run their business on their terms.
Easol has deep roots in experiences. The platform was founded by former festival founders, Lisa and Ben Simpson in 2017, after the husband and wife team endured challenges and frustrations first-hand while setting up and growing their own experience business including Rise, Europe’s biggest Snowsports and music festival, and Beyond Adventures, a series of adventure travel experiences in remote locations such as the Sahara desert and the Swedish archipelago.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We’re hiring a Director of Marketing (player-coach) to own demand generation, lifecycle/CRM, and product marketing for Easol across our two core verticals - music and location-based entertainment ($30bn+ TAM). You’ll lead strategy and hands-on execution to create pipeline, scale ABM to target accounts, create compelling sales collateral, and amplify the Easol brand (working closely with the Brand team). Being successful will require partnering with Sales, Customer Success, and Brand, and deploying AI-enabled workflows to raise productivity. It will also require being highly analytical and data-driven.
This is a high-impact role with a large individual contributor element, and will also require management of a current marketing team member, any freelancers, and the wider marketing budget. As we evolve you build out the foundational team (content, CRM, events). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of scaling businesses in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
We are hiring now as Easol continues to grow rapidly. With our roots in music, we have now added a second core market, location-based entertainment, and have ambitious plans. We move fast and are ready to scale up our marketing efforts. All we need is the right person to lead on this!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own pipeline creation through content marketing, SEO, AI-search optimisation, performance marketing, ABM, PR, and events.
  • Sales enablement including but not limited to customer case study development and other key collateral.
  • Product and lifecycle marketing including email marketing, in-app communications, and support of customer success.
  • Build out and manage consistent social media content strategy, ensuring that we are front-of-mind with key industry stakeholders. Manage the marketing budget and track financial performance to maximise ROI and control CAC. Present regular performance reports and insights to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Drive Easol’s AI strategy within the marketing function, leveraging AI tools and technologies to continuously enhance performance, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Work with our Brand Team to expand Easol’s brand awareness and positioning in target markets through creative, impactful campaigns, PR initiatives, industry partnerships, and thought leadership opportunities.
  • When required, procure and manage freelancers and strategic agency relationships, maintaining high standards and ensuring all agency outputs consistently meet Easol’s brand expectations and business goals.
