POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and execution-oriented Director of Marketing to lead national and local marketing efforts across our expanding franchise system. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s marketing strategy in alignment with overall brand goals, operational priorities, and franchisee success. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, collaborates well across teammates, franchise owners, suppliers and other partners, and blends creativity with analytical discipline.

Responsibilities

The Director of Marketing will be responsible for the following core duties (including, but not limited to):

  • Develop and Execute the National Marketing Plan
  • Create, maintain, and implement an annual marketing plan that aligns with company strategy and growth objectives.
  • Coordinate activities across internal teams, suppliers, ad agencies, and franchisees.
  • Support Local Franchisee Marketing
  • Coach and assist franchisees and their Regional Franchise Consultants (RFCs) in developing local marketing game plans.
  • Ensure alignment with system-wide brand and operational standards.
  • Agency Oversight and Brand Governance
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with the advertising agency to ensure adherence to brand standards and strategic direction.
  • Track agency performance based on creative quality, ROI, and contribution to operational and financial goals.
  • Lead Marketing Committee
  • Facilitate regular input from the Marketing Committee comprised of franchise owners.
  • Translate committee input into actionable strategies for the national marketing plan.
  • Content Development and Communications
  • Write press releases, advertising copy, and marketing materials that reflect brand voice and support senior leadership objectives.
  • Maintain open two-way communication with supplier marketing departments to align marketing calendars, product launches and discontinuations.
  • Franchisee Advertising Support
  • Assist franchisees in researching appropriate local advertising channels, including digital, print, video, and radio.
  • Provide guidance on cost negotiation, creative development, and campaign implementation tailored to their market.
  • Lead Generation & Business Development Support
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to create and execute lead generation advertising strategies that fuel national growth.
  • Other Duties as Needed
  • Leverage AI tools to maximize performance and results of marketing strategies and processes.
  • Take on additional tasks that support the marketing department and company objectives.
