WHAT IT MEANS TO BE DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

We get it, you want to know what you’re signing up for before you apply, right? This is what you need to know. We’re looking for a Director of Marketing to lead and scale our customer acquisition engine, while elevating our brand, content, and creative strategy. This role is perfect for a senior-level growth marketer who thrives at the intersection of performance and brand, and is excited to lead a small, growing team.
This is a player-coach role—initially hands-on in execution while managing a high-performing team across key marketing functions including performance marketing, content, SEO, brand creative, and CRO. You’ll report directly to the CEO and play a strategic role in shaping our end-to-end marketing strategy—from awareness to acquisition to conversion.

As a Director of Marketing at Leadpages, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Own and execute a full-funnel marketing strategy focused on demand generation, performance marketing, content, and brand.
  • Lead multi-channel acquisition efforts across paid media (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, and more), SEO, affiliate, and partnerships.
  • Manage and optimize paid media budgets to maximize ROI, CAC efficiency, and pipeline contribution.
  • Strategize and allocate budgets across ToFu (Top-of-Funnel), MoFu (Middle-of-Funnel), and BoFu (Bottom-of-Funnel) campaigns to drive pipeline across the customer journey.
  • Oversee the development of high-converting landing pages, campaign experiments, and CRO strategies to improve funnel performance.
  • Develop and execute an SEO and content strategy to increase organic visibility, authority, and inbound lead volume.
  • Evolve and own the brand strategy, ensuring consistent messaging, creative direction, and positioning across all touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with Product and RevOps to refine audience segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and go-to-market campaigns.
  • Lead and mentor a small but mighty team across performance, content, and design—hiring and scaling as the company grows.
  • Build a data-driven culture with clear KPIs, marketing attribution, forecasting, and regular performance reporting to the executive team
