Description

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

This role will oversee all marketing initiatives—from building the firm’s brand to campaign execution and agency oversight—while building processes that scale with the business. You’ll interface with firm leadership and agency partners and oversee junior team members as they’re added.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 6–10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, ideally in B2B or professional services.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and executing integrated marketing plans across paid, earned, and owned channels.
  • Strong grasp of digital platforms (Google Ads, Meta, GA4, WordPress, MailChimp, SEO tools); able to assess effectiveness, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with specialists.
  • Comfortable managing external agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience with branding, messaging, and campaign execution in complex or niche industries, legal industry experience is a plus.
  • Familiar with project management tools such as Monday.com, Asana, or Trello.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills; able to connect dots across disciplines.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and resourceful. You align on the direction and take initiative.
  • Collaborative and adaptable to changing priorities or ambiguous environments.
  • Self-aware with strong judgment around when to lead, when to delegate, and when to bring in external expertise.
  • Confident presenting alternative viewpoints respectfully and backing them with data or rationale.
  • Excited to contribute to a mission-driven firm serving clients in the construction and business law space.

Schedule:

  • Working hours Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities
  • Execute the firm’s overarching marketing strategy in collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Lead, manage, and refine all digital marketing efforts, including SEO, paid search, paid social, organic social, email marketing, and website conversion.
  • Act as the point of contact for external marketing agencies, ensuring deliverables are high-quality, on-brand, and tied to measurable goals.
  • Monitor performance metrics and translate data into actionable insights; identify and resolve inconsistencies in reporting.
  • Elevate the firm’s brand through marketing campaigns, attorney profile-building, PR opportunities, and event marketing.
  • Maintain high standards of brand consistency across all channels, ensuring visual identity and tone reflect firm positioning.
  • Support content and thought leadership initiatives—including podcast production, media placements, and internal collateral.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to ensure marketing activities are aligned with business development goals.
  • Oversee campaign project management using tools like Monday.com or similar platforms.
  • As the team grows, recruit, mentor, and manage junior marketers or contractors.
