Role Overview The Director of Marketing is an entrepreneurial, AI-first growth leader who thrives in a fast-moving environment where urgency, experimentation, and adaptability drive success. This is a player-coach role for a marketing generalist who can flex across content, demand gen, PR, events, SEO, SEM, and social — while also setting the strategy for positioning TrueLoyal as the leading emotional loyalty platform. The right candidate will: - Bring a super-high sense of urgency to execution. - Believe in rapid experimentation — testing multiple campaigns, messages, and formats until finding what works, then doubling down. - Have a sharp eye for positioning and narrative, ensuring TrueLoyal stands out in the crowded loyalty and MarTech space. - Build and lead an AI-first marketing function that fuels both demand creation and demand conversion. Key Responsibilities Demand Creation Own pipeline creation through integrated marketing campaigns spanning SEO, SEM, GEO, content, PR, social, and events. Build a scalable AI-powered content engine to drive rankings, visibility, and inbound traffic. Drive brand visibility and awareness with a clear, differentiated position in the loyalty & MarTech ecosystem. Continuously run rapid-fire experiments across channels to identify and scale what delivers pipeline. Demand Conversion Ensure marketing delivers demos, opportunities, and closed-won deals by aligning tightly with Sales. Develop AI-driven lead scoring, routing, and nurturing workflows to accelerate conversions. Build persona-based assets (ROI calculators, case studies, demo narratives) to improve conversion at each funnel stage. Track and optimize MQL → SQL → Opp → Win with precision and accountability. Leadership & Execution Operate with an entrepreneurial mindset — willing to get hands-on with execution while also setting strategy. Build, mentor, and lead a small but mighty team, instilling a bias for action and urgency. Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to ensure unified GTM execution. Own the marketing budget with a laser focus on pipeline and revenue outcomes. KPIs for Success Marketing-sourced and influenced pipeline ($ volume and % of total pipeline) Growth in MQLs, SQLs, demos, and opportunities SEO + GEO ranking improvements and web traffic growth ROI of campaigns and spend efficiency Demo-to-Opp and Opp-to-Win conversion rates Share of voice in loyalty, AI, and MarTech conversations Qualifications 7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, ideally in MarTech, Commerce Tech, or customer engagement platforms. Entrepreneurial operator — thrives in ambiguity, loves to build, and executes with urgency. Proven track record of running rapid experimentation loops: test, measure, double down. A true marketing generalist with deep experience across multiple channels (content, SEO, SEM, PR, social, events). Strong instincts for positioning and narrative — can craft messaging that cuts through noise. Hands-on with AI tools for content generation, campaign optimization, analytics, and personalization. Highly analytical with a commercial mindset: every action ties back to pipeline and revenue. Startup/scale-up mentality: ambitious, action-oriented, and impatient for results.
