Description We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Director of Marketing to lead our marketing function in a growing home services franchise organization. This role will serve as a critical bridge between Brand & Creative and Marketing execution, ensuring alignment across teams while supporting franchisees with effective, data-driven marketing strategies. The ideal candidate understands the importance of brand consistency and creative integrity—maintaining and optimizing our existing brand system without unnecessary overhauls—while elevating how marketing supports business growth at the local level. Requirements Key ResponsibilitiesBrand & Creative Leadership Steward and protect the integrity of the existing brand system, ensuring consistency across all channels and franchise locations Provide thoughtful guidance on minor brand and creative enhancements without introducing unnecessary large-scale changes Lead and mentor the Brand & Creative team to produce high-quality, on-brand assets Ensure creative output meets both corporate standards and the practical needs of franchisees Analyze market trends and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities through positioning and messaging in our creative. Manage organic social strategy and lead asset development for paid social creative to be utilized by the network. Franchise Marketing Support Partner closely with franchise owners and operators to guide local marketing efforts Define and communicate best practices for marketing products and services in local markets Ensure franchisees have access to effective, easy-to-use marketing tools and resources Collaborate with Franchise Success Coaches to support adoption and execution of marketing initiatives Develop and lead a balanced, data-driven marketing strategy that supports growth across key business areas, including franchise development (new franchisee acquisition), commercial services, residential services, and duct cleaning Marketing Center of Excellence (CoE) Build and lead a Marketing Center of Excellence that establishes standards, tools, and processes across the organization Act as the central hub connecting Brand, Creative, and Marketing strategy Drive alignment between national campaigns and local execution Franchise Marketing Playbook Development Design, build, and continuously improve the franchisor marketing playbook Translate strategy into actionable frameworks and assets that franchisees can easily implement Deliver training and materials through Franchise Success Coaches and internal teams Ensure the playbook evolves with market trends, customer behavior, and business needs Data-Driven Marketing & Innovation Champion a data-first approach to marketing decisions across the organization Analyze campaign performance, customer insights, and franchise-level data to optimize results Identify outdated or underperforming marketing practices and replace them with more effective approaches Test, learn, and scale new marketing strategies and channels Strategic Marketing Leadership Develop and execute overarching marketing strategies that support company growth and franchise success Align marketing initiatives with business goals, seasonal demand, and service line priorities Collaborate with leadership on growth initiatives, new market entry, and customer acquisition strategies Key Competencies Balanced Thinker: Respects brand consistency while enabling practical execution Operator & Strategist: Can both design strategy and ensure it gets implemented effectively Franchise-Minded: Understands the needs and realities of local operators Change Agent: Willing to challenge legacy approaches and implement better solutions Data-Oriented: Uses insights to guide decisions, not assumptions Collaborative Leader: Builds alignment across teams and functions Zerorez® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
