You will plan, develop, organize, and implement the day-to-day functions of the nursing department. You will oversee your department budgets. You will communicate with doctors, consumers, and family members about consumer health. You will implement new procedures and train nurses in company policies. You will work in tandem with your administrator and team members to create positive outcomes for residents in your rehabilitation center. Requirements Director of Nursing (DON) Qualifications: 2 years of experience as a DON or an ADON in long-term care. Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Illinois, in good standing. Familiarity with medical software and equipment (PointClickCare). Ability to build rapport with patients and staff. Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
