ABOUT THE JOB MU Health Care is seeking a passionate, strategic, and visionary Director of Nursing at Capital Region Medical Center (CRMC) to lead nursing services and advance patient-centered, community-focused care as part of an academic health system. This leader will champion innovation, drive continuous improvement in patient, physician, and employee satisfaction, and ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. In this role, you will develop and mentor nursing leaders, oversee recruitment, performance management, and professional development, and foster a culture of excellence. You will partner with senior leadership to optimize operations, support strategic planning, and advance initiatives that strengthen care delivery and positively impact community health. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days. Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Master of Science in Nursing degree. Master's degree in business or a healthcare-related field. Seven (7) years of nursing experience in a hospital setting. Five (5) years of managerial or supervisory experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS PhD in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
