Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Clinical Professional Education Director of Nursing in Athens, TX.

GET TO KNOW YOUR TEAM:

• UT Health Athens is a 127-bed facility, including a 24-hour ED, designated as a Level IV trauma center and Level III stroke center; advanced diagnostic technology; 10-bed ICU; maternity unit radiation therapy center; and a stand-alone ED in Gun Barrel City.
  Responsibilities:
  The Director of Clinical Education is responsible for providing oversight for the development of training and programs in regard to promoting clinical practice standards.
  Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of five (5) years critical care experience
• Current Texas License as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum of Bachelor’s in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Minimum of three (3) years management experience
• ER, OB and educational experience
• Certification in Professional Development
