Title: Director of Nursing
Location: 685 3rd Ave. New York, New York 10017, in-person.
Salary Range: $150,000 - $160,000 annually
Employment Type: Full-Time

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience as a RN in Emergency Department, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, Community Health or other relevant areas
  • Minimum of 4+ years in a supervisory role
  • Comfortable providing treatment in non-traditional/mobile locations, including but not limited to the street, community spaces, and shelters
  • Active and current driver’s license with an acceptable record
  • Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Active and current BLS / ACLS certification
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be able to visit new and existing bases as required

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical oversight for care delivered by RNs, LPNs, and LVNs across all service areas
  • Develop and refine policies, procedures, and training programs for clinical staff
  • Collaborate with Clinical Practice Group and Operations to maintain high-quality, patient-centered programs
  • Lead strategic planning and implementation to ensure consistent, efficient site operations
  • Evaluate patient data to ensure care aligns with clinical guidelines and organizational standards
  • Ensure compliance across programs, data privacy, education, and pharmacovigilance
  • Guide clinical decisions on technology deployment to support seamless workflows
  • Partner with VFC leadership to uphold clinical standards in pediatric programs
  • Support RN Managers in delivering reproducible, high-quality care across all bases
  • Continuously improve training and onboarding for clinical staff
  • Assist Operations in supporting municipal and hospital system partnerships
  • Conduct field visits to observe care delivery and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Review budgets and implement cost-efficient strategies
  • Enhance hiring and orientation processes to ensure excellence in care delivery
