Description Director of Nursing (DON) | Behavioral Health / Psychiatric Facility We are seeking a strong clinical leader to step into a Director of Nursing (DON) role within a behavioral health/psychiatric setting. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a patient-centered environment while leading a dedicated nursing team. Who We’re Looking For: We are open to: An experienced Director of Nursing (DON) with a background in psychiatric or behavioral health settings OR A seasoned Registered Nurse (RN) with significant psychiatric experience and proven leadership ability, such as: Managing or overseeing a psych unit or wing Leadership roles in inpatient or residential psych facilities Charge nurse, nurse manager, or supervisor experience in behavioral health Key Responsibilities: Oversee all nursing operations and clinical services Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes Drive quality improvement initiatives and maintain a safe therapeutic environment Qualifications: Active RN license (state-specific or ability to obtain) Strong background in psychiatric/behavioral health nursing Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Passion for patient-centered mental health care What’s Offered: Competitive salary based on experience Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, PTO, etc.) Supportive leadership environment Why This Role?
