The Position: We're looking for an experienced and passionate Director of Nursing to manage, direct and coordinate the delivery of nursing and clinical care to residents in conjunction with state and federal guidelines.  Responsibilities include: * Oversees admission, discharge, and transfer processes. * Provides oversight of MDS assessments, care planning and RAI process. Oversees Infection Control processes. * Ensures continuity in provision of nursing services to meet established standards of quality such as reviews incident reports, accident and injury reports and 24-hour reports from units daily to ensure timely, effective responses to changes and resident events. * Oversees resident care and implementation of and compliance with resident-specific care plans. * Conducts daily resident rounds, including regulatory compliance rounds, in all nursing units and assures follow-up on identified issues. Requirements: * Minimum of 3 years professional nursing experience required. * Experience in geriatrics, or long-term care preferred; management experience preferred. * Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. * Current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Hawaii required.
