The Director of Nursing Operations (DNO) is responsible for providing strategic and operational oversight of nursing services across Altior Healthcare. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based, and patient-centered nursing care while driving operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and clinical excellence. The DNO works collaboratively with nursing leadership, interdisciplinary clinical teams, and executive leadership to optimize staffing, workflows, budget utilization, and overall performance. Key Qualifications: Provide oversight of day-to-day nursing operations across assigned units and service lines. Develop, implement, and maintain operational policies, procedures, and best practices to support strong clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. Partner with the Chief Nursing Officer and department leaders to align nursing operations with organizational goals and strategic initiatives. Lead initiatives focused on workflow optimization, operational efficiency, and clinical performance improvement. Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, including CMS, Joint Commission, and state regulations. Coach, mentor, and develop nursing leaders, including nurse managers and supervisors, to support leadership growth and performance excellence. Oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and engagement of clinical team members. Drive quality improvement initiatives and actively participate in accreditation readiness and surveys. Foster a culture of accountability, safety, collaboration, and excellence in patient care.
