How you’ll make an impact in this role Leads systematic nursing quality improvement and safety initiatives through gap assessments and data analysis, leveraging collaborative systems thinking to deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care and outcomes. Drives the translation of best evidence and NDNQI insights into nursing practice and facilitates the integration of multiple programs and disciplines across the healthcare system to ensure positive patient outcomes. Creates and develops evidence-based policies, procedures, protocols, and best practice models/guidelines using advanced clinical and specialty knowledge. Utilizes advanced clinical knowledge and communication skills through role modeling, consultation, and education with nurses and healthcare providers to support nursing practice and improve patient outcomes. Assists nurses and the inter-professional team to evaluate and change practice standards and ensure nursing practice is evidence-based. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: Master's degree in nursing required. What additional preferences we're seeking Clinical Nurse Specialist with system experience strongly preferred. Doctoral Degree (DNP or PhD) preferred.
