The Director of Operational Performance & Delivery (DOPD) will play a key operational leadership role within the Trust, supporting the Chief Operating Officer in the oversight and management of operational performance, service delivery and productivity measures across the Trust’s mental health and community services.
This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of patient care, embedding best practices, and ensuring that the Trust’s operational objectives are met within the framework of safety, quality, performance and financial sustainability. Reporting directly to the COO, the post-holder will lead the coordination and oversight of performance, delivery and productivity to ensure that outcomes and KPI’s are improved and achieved across the Trust.
The DOPD will be responsible for overseeing a range of programmes of work, including patient flow, capacity management, waiting list management, productivity and supporting the development of neighbourhood models, while ensuring adherence to national standards and local priorities.
The DOPD will lead the further development of an Integrated Performance Report; to achieve this, the post-holder will perform a bridging role between operational, performance, improvement, finance, workforce and informatics to ensure the Trust can be assured that data is reported consistently and reliably from a clear, single source.
As a senior leader, the post-holder will model and promote the vision and values of the Trust both internally and externally and participate in the Trusts On-Call rota.
