Summary
The salary range for this position is 116,000 to 140,000. This is the pay range for this position that Andaz Napa reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.

As a member of the Executive Committee, the Director of Operations is a highly visible role with exposure to Senior and Corporate leadership. This position reports to the hotel General Manager.
The Director of Operations oversees all hotel services, including Front Desk, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Guest Services, with responsibility for both short- and long-term operational planning. This role manages Rooms operations across front-of-house and back-of-house areas, ensuring alignment with Hyatt service standards and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include maximizing room revenues and occupancy through daily rate analysis, rate variance review, and strategic adjustments; monitoring credit reports and daily house counts; and managing high-volume events with special occupancy requirements. The Director develops and recommends budgets, marketing plans, and objectives, managing within approved guidelines.
The position also coordinates major projects such as renovations, capital expenditures, and equipment upgrades, and develops and maintains departmental standards and operating procedures. Additional duties include preparing revenue and occupancy forecasts, controlling labor expenses through schedule approvals, and analyzing operational statistics to identify opportunities for improvement.
The Director leads weekly Rooms Division meetings, conducts monthly financial reviews with subordinate managers and senior leadership, participates in the Manager-on-Duty (MOD) program, and manages special projects. They are responsible for hiring, managing, training, coaching, and counseling employees to uphold Hyatt service standards.
