Compensation: $100,000 to $140,000 Annually + Benefits

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience in operations leadership, preferably in an agency, SaaS, or eCommerce environment.
  • Expertise with Monday.com, Excel, Slack, and PowerBI; experience with automation and AI tools is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging automation tools and AI-driven solutions to improve workflows.
  • Proven ability to manage distributed, multicultural teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a ‘bedside manner’ aligned with the agency’s transparent, supportive culture.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven, and entrepreneurial environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in Amazon/eCommerce or performance marketing agency operations; knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or Kanban; familiarity with Zapier, Make (Integromat), or other no-code automation platforms.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

The client is looking for a Director of Operations to lead and evolve their operational infrastructure as they scale. The ideal candidate is a strategic yet hands-on leader with experience overseeing cross-functional teams, optimizing workflows through systems like Monday.com and Power BI, and driving efficiency through automation and AI. You’ll be responsible for orchestrating the backend of a fast-paced, global, and diverse team, ensuring seamless communication and delivery of top-tier service for their eCommerce clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead daily operations across departments, ensuring cohesive execution of business objectives.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align strategy, priorities, and resource planning, focusing on the unique needs of eCommerce and marketplace management.
  • Drive optimization of internal systems and processes (especially in Monday.com, Excel, and Slack).
  • Design and implement performance dashboards in PowerBI, providing actionable insights for leadership and agency client teams.
  • Leverage automation and AI tools to enhance team productivity, reduce operational overhead, and maintain the agency’s competitive edge.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance work environment across generations, cultures, and time zones.
  • Inspire, coach, and support department heads, modeling the agency’s ‘people-first’ values.
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, ensuring smooth delivery for agency clients.
  • Maintain a calm, transparent, and approachable presence across all levels of the company.
  • Manage operational budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality.
