Position Overview: Reporting to the Sr. Director of TECA Operations, the Operations Director will lead a team accountable for a robust supply of finished goods, supporting over $3.6B in annual revenue. You will develop a team of 2 External Operations Managers to establish and drive strategies to deliver benchmark value through improved quality, customer service, and responsiveness while reducing supply chain total costs and increasing profitability. Additionally, you will deploy dedicated continuous improvement specialists to help external partners foster process improvements and a lean culture.

EDUCATION:

  • Undergraduate degree in science, engineering, business, or supply chain-related fields required.
  • Post-graduate degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

  • 10 - 15 years of relevant experience; 7 years in a people leadership role.
  • Medical Device or Pharmaceutical experience required.
  • Experience in supplier relationship management, contracts, and supplier agreements.
  • Strong background in complex program management.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a global and somewhat ambiguous environment.
  • Clear and concise communication skills across all company levels and the global supply chain.
  • Ability to lead and influence others in a complex organization.
  • Proven track record of developing talent.
  • Understanding of process excellence tools (lean, six sigma) and manufacturing systems and processes.
