JOB SUMMARY

As the Director of Operations for our Everett, WA plant, you will lead the full value stream across production, logistics, maintenance, and materials. You will play a key role in driving plant performance, embedding Lean principles, enabling predictive automation strategies, and developing next-generation leaders in a dynamic, customer-driven environment.
This is a mission-critical role for a hands-on leader with a track record of building high-performing teams and scaling operations. a Quality Assurance Analyst, you’ll play a vital role in upholding and enhancing our quality standards. You’ll be responsible for managing quality-related data, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining document control systems. With an analytical mindset and a passion for accuracy, you’ll help drive operational excellence across departments.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Demonstrated success leading Lean transformations with real impact on cost, quality, or speed
  • Proven record of developing frontline and midlevel leaders
  • Proficiency in production systems (ERP/MES), barcode workflows, and machine data capture
  • Experience managing in highmix, highvolume environments with timesensitive output
  • Strong financial and KPI fluency (P&L experience a plus)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Strong understanding of production management.
  • 48 years of experience in plant or operations leadership within light manufacturing (print, packaging, plastics, or assembly industries preferred)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead daytoday operations across production, warehouse, shipping/receiving, and quality assurance
  • Drive Lean transformation and continuous improvement initiatives through Hoshin Kanri, leader standard work, visual management, and tiered accountability
  • Collaborate with engineering, planning, and commercial teams to align production with customer demand and launch schedules
  • Implement and refine metrics (e.g., OEE, labor productivity, throughput) and develop actionable insights
  • Champion safety, 5S, and a clean, organized work environment
  • Coach and develop supervisors and frontline leaders in a LeaderLeader model to foster ownership and initiative
  • Contribute to longterm capital planning, automation strategy, and labor scaling models
  • Partner with Lancaster Plant Director and VP of Operations to share best practices and unify operational standards
  • Ensures appropriate production rate to reduce delivery delays.
  • Collaborates with the customer service and sales departments to identify and resolve quality concerns.
  • Manage the inventory purchasing and storage process on a monthly basis.
  • Identifies any bottlenecks or delays in production; ensures necessary labor, materials, and other resources are available to relieve production bottlenecks and delays.
  • Uses production planning and scheduling to limit materials shortages.
  • Ensures production machinery complies with professional and safety standards.
  • Schedules maintenance and repair of machines used in the production process to avoid downtime or delays.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
