At GME Excavation Sewer & Water Inc., our journey began as a fully incorporated entity in June 2023, building upon our earlier experiences in the commercial buildings division. With a rich history of over 60 years in Heavy Civil, including industrial and commercial services, and Sewer Water construction within the group, we take pride in offering a variety of specialized services.
We excel in Sewer and Water projects, ranging from subdivisions to residential/commercial tie-ins, and we’re well-versed in LDS systems for Commercial and Multi-family developments. Additionally, our expertise extends to bulk and finish excavation, rough grading, and base work. JOB SUMMARY

The Director of Operations plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the organization, ensuring that business processes run efficiently and effectively. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker who can drive process improvements, enhance operational performance, and support business development initiatives. The Director of Operations will collaborate with various departments to align operational strategies with organizational goals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a managerial or sales role, preferably within the construction or excavation industry.
  • Proven negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable outcomes for the organization.
  • Strong background in process improvement methodologies, demonstrating a track record of enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities, fostering a collaborative team environment while driving results.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data effectively including knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Knowledge of B2W and Site Docs considered an asset.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
