What You Will Do
The Director of Operations is responsible for the effective delivery and financial performance of the Government Technologies (GT) Group’s programs and projects. Operating under general guidance, this role provides strategic leadership across operations and support functions, ensuring best practices, process improvements, and high-performance standards are consistently applied. The Director oversees project execution, resource management, and customer satisfaction, while maintaining compliance with contractual, budgetary, and scheduling requirements. This position also plays a key role in fostering strong relationships with federal clients, JCI branch offices, and subcontractors to ensure operational excellence and business growth.
How You will Do it
Leadership & Team Management
Promote a culture of safety with a goal of zero lost-time and recordable incidents.
Lead the GT Program Office and Customer Care Teams, including hiring, performance management, and career development.
Foster a high-engagement culture through clear expectations, regular feedback, and professional development.
Operational Excellence
Ensure project management policies and tools are current and aligned with compliance and audit standards.
Oversee implementation of process improvements to enhance fiscal control, customer satisfaction, and contract compliance.
Monitor field installation activities and support execution of business plans to drive customer satisfaction and profitability.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
Maintain strong relationships with federal clients and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with contract objectives.
Monitor customer satisfaction (e.g., CPARS) and proactively address issues.
Collaborate with corporate functions including accounting, procurement, and supply chain to support operational needs.
Strategic & Financial Oversight
Manage the GT Group budget to meet or exceed corporate financial targets.
Lead internal and external audits related to operational activities.
Support business development efforts, including proposal strategy, operational content, and review participation.
Corporate Initiatives
Implement corporate and group-wide initiatives, including new systems and process rollouts.
Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and operational health standards.
What We Look For
Required Qualifications

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
PMP, PgMP, or CPP certification preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 10 years of progressive management experience, including 5 years as a Program Manager of a national program.
Experience with U.S. Federal Government operations and contracting strongly preferred.
Familiarity with FAR, DFAR, and GSA procurement processes.
