Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:30AM-5:30PM

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • 10+ years of experience in Operations or Supply Chain Management in a distribution environment
  • University degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (MBA or Master’s is an asset)
  • APICS certification in Production & Inventory Management and/or Supply Chain is an asset
  • Experience with large-scale ERP systems in both automated and non-automated environments; proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience with WMS platforms like HighJump or Körber is considered an asset
  • knowledge of JDE Enterprise One is an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven leadership and team collaboration abilities
  • Strong time management, adaptability, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities
    We are looking for a strategic business partner to lead logistics, warehousing, and service departments, while supporting process improvements, budgeting, forecasting, and cost-reduction initiatives. This position reports to the Vice President of Operations for the JAM Group of Companies.

  • Building collaborative relationships with business partners to optimize information flow, product movement, procedural execution, and overall performance
  • Providing regular reporting to senior management on activities and achievements
  • Analyzing performance data to identify opportunities for improvement across warehouse operations
  • Leading operational activities at distribution centers, coaching team members, supporting development, and driving departmental goals
  • Setting performance objectives and reporting on KPIs such as Cycle Time, On-Time In-Full, Cost/Case,
  • Developing, executing, and monitoring departmental budgets aligned with productivity, quality, and efficiency goal
Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Director of Operations – Baie d’Urfé, West Island of Montreal ensures the smooth operation and integration of various departments, with a focus on Distribution, Service, and MIS, within the JAM Canada Music Group (Erikson Consumer, Erikson Audio, Erikson PRO, Coast, and over 14 other divisions). This role oversees the flow of products from vendors to warehouses and ultimately to customers, while serving as a key liaison with departments at the corporate headquarters in Montreal. This individual is responsible for establishing and reporting on KPIs, tracking budgets, and resolving operational challenges. The position is a key member of the group’s management team.
