SUMMARY

LYNK Capital is seeking a proactive and results-driven Director of Operations to oversee the Processing, Underwriting, Closing, and Appraisal functions of our lending platform. This high-impact leadership role will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, loan pipeline performance, and an excellent customer experience from loan submission through funding.
The Director of Operations will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the Director of Sales and other leadership team members to drive consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement across the loan production lifecycle. This is a hands-on leadership role today, with potential to grow into a more strategic, metrics-focused position as the company scales.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a mortgage operations leadership role (processing, underwriting, or closing)
• Deep understanding of mortgage loan processes, preferably in private or non-QM lending
• Experience managing cross-functional operational teams in a fast-paced environment
• Hands-on, mentor leadership style with strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to track and enforce turn times and pipeline performance metrics
• Comfortable working in a high-accountability, fast-growth culture

• Oversee day-to-day operations across the Processing, Underwriting, Closing, and Appraisal teams
• Directly manage processors, underwriters, closers, and appraisal desk staff
• Monitor pipeline flow and turn times, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks
• Enforce service level standards and operational discipline across all files and teams
• Partner with the Director of Sales to align production goals and manage file escalations
• Maintain a strong borrower experience throughout the operations process
• Recommend process improvements and guideline adjustments based on workflow trends
• Ensure operational adherence to LYNK’s credit policy, risk thresholds, and product guidelines
• Support the refinement of internal workflows and collaborate with tech teams on system optimizations
• Participate in regular leadership team meetings to align on strategy, growth, and performance
