Description The aim of the role of Director of Operations is to assist the Chief Operating Officer in delivery of all operational projects, driving operational efficiency of our clinical services, with a focus on customer service and consistent application of best practices throughout the patient experience. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of healthcare operations, best practices in clinical settings, and the ability to drive performance improvement initiatives. A strong emphasis will be placed on people development, performance management and utilization of technology to support deliverable. Key Responsibilities: - Provide project management and administration to MCHC grant funded projects, working with the contracted grant writers and internal grant project leads to ensure timely reporting and that grant deliverables are met. - Lead and/or participate in cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements - Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging staff to identify growth opportunities and engage in pilot projects and change initiatives. - Provide leadership and guidance to clinical managers, with a focus on professional development, developing high-performing teams. through effective recruitment, performance management, and retention strategies. - Develop and implement programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge, with a focus on leadership development and succession planning. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - At least 5 years in a leadership capacity within healthcare - Proven track record of driving operational performance improvement and or project management a healthcare setting PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor’s Degree in a related field - At least 5 years' experience in an outpatient healthcare setting - Certified LEAN
