Description
Benefits: 401(k) Bonus based on performance Competitive salary About the Opportunity Rolling Suds is a profitable exterior cleaning company serving commercial clients across Northern Virginia. We did $1M revenue in Virginia in 2025, and we're acquiring 5 Maryland territories to scale to $1.9M in 2026. This isn't a corporate ops job. This is hands-on field service leadership - managing crews who visit customer sites daily (commercial properties, military bases, residential communities). You'll refine systems, train teams, ensure quality, handle logistics, and solve problems in real-time. The owner focuses on sales and business development while supporting operations as needed. You'll own day-to-day operations across both states. What You'll Own Team Leadership - Hire, train, and manage ~16 field technicians across two states Multi-State Operations - Coordinate scheduling, routing, and resources between VA and MD; manage 5 trucks Quality & Safety - Refine and enforce SOPs, maintain compliance, ensure consistency across both states Equipment & Fleet - Oversee maintenance, repairs, inventory for pressure washing equipment and vehicles Client Operations - Handle escalations, manage key commercial accounts alongside sales Financial Performance - Control labor costs, improve efficiency, protect 70%+ gross margins while scaling Growth Execution - Turn around Maryland operation while maintaining Virginia performance What Success Looks Like in Year 1 ✓ Virginia grows to $1.3M+ revenue while maintaining 70%+ margins ✓ Maryland turned around and scaling to $500K+, profitable by Q4 ✓ Crews operating with refined systems, minimal owner involvement in day-to-day ✓ Demonstrable operational improvements and cost efficiencies Compensation Base: $90-100K (depending on experience) Bonuses: ~$10K for hitting operational milestones Phantom Equity: 3-5% of net profits Total Year 1: $105-125K with strong performance, scales in Year 2+ Who You Are ✓ Field Service Operator - Managed teams who travel to customer locations (not warehouse or fixed-facility operations) ✓ Systems Refiner - Take existing processes and make them better, more efficient, and scalable ✓ People Leader - Coach teams, manage performance, handle hourly workforce ✓ Problem Solver - Handle equipment failures, callouts, and client issues calmly ✓ Business-Minded - Understand P&L, margins, efficiency ✓ Builder Mentality - Excited to scale and share in upside, not just maintain Ideal Background 5+ years managing field operations Proven ability to scale teams and refine systems Strong people management with hourly workforce Valid driver's license; comfortable with VA/MD travel Bonus: Multi-location experience, P&L responsibility, turnaround experience, military background Not the Right Fit If You: ✗ Need corporate structure with layers of management ✗ Only have warehouse or fixed-location operations experience ✗ Want detailed instructions vs. improving systems independently ✗ Looking for maintenance mode vs. growth opportunity About Rolling Suds Commercial-focused exterior cleaning serving property managers, military installations, and high-end residential clients. Virginia operation: $1M revenue, 70%+ gross margins in 2025. We've acquired 5 Maryland territories and are scaling the combined business to $1.9M in 2026. Strong reputation for quality, safety, and reliability. Profitable, proven, positioned for growth. Location & Travel Based: Alexandria/Arlington, VA and Potomac/Bethesda, MD Work arrangement: Flexible - work from home, use our VA or MD staging areas as your office, or hybrid. No required daily commute. Travel: 30-40% visiting job sites for QC and client meetings; 60-70% coordinating operations remotely To Apply Complete the screening questions with your application. We're looking for someone who wants to build something, not just manage it.
