Description Position Purpose: As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Director of Operations provides strategic leadership over all core operations functions – for shipping, receiving, warehouse, assembly, production, laboratory operations, and procurement. This role builds team culture, develops strong team members, architects predictable, efficient, and scalable processes, and delivers consistent results through disciplined standards and continuous improvement. What kind of leader we need: Strategic thinker capable of making great decisions, focusing priorities, and improving processes Natural and trained people leader, including culture-building, professional development, and conflict resolution Strong analytical skills for labor costing, efficiency metrics, and performance analysis Experience in scaling operations for mixed fulfillment models Project management skills for initiatives like warehouse redesign and new product launches Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in fast-paced, dynamic environments Bias for action, ready to get things moving and make progress Exceptional project management and communication skills Has entrepreneurial grit adapting to tackle whatever challenges arise Driven to grow personally and professionally What this role will accomplish: Part of the senior leadership team, this role will help lead the entire company to achieve goals in culture, profitability, and growth Leadership & Team Performance Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and frontline teams Establish clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards Build a culture of ownership, problem-solving, and continuous improvement Address performance gaps decisively and fairly Collaborate and align with senior leaders for overall business achievement Operational Execution Own daily operations across shipping, receiving, warehouse, production, assembly, lab, and procurement Ensure work is performed according to defined processes in Quality system—not tribal knowledge Reduce firefighting by stabilizing systems and workflows Process Improvement & Lean Thinking Implement practical Lean manufacturing or similar methodologies Identify waste, bottlenecks, and variability; lead corrective actions Drive standard work, visual management, and continuous improvement Optimize warehouse layout to support the above Planning, Capacity & Inventory Own planning, scheduling, and capacity management across functional areas Balance labor, equipment, and material availability Implement effective inventory management and cycle counting Improve labor efficiency and labor absorption Systems & Metrics Leverage ERP & WMS tools (NetSuite, RF Smart experience a plus) Establish and manage KPIs for throughput, on-time delivery, labor efficiency, and inventory accuracy Use data to drive decisions and accountability Requirements Requirements: 7+ years of experience leading manufacturing and/or warehouse management 10+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or warehouse management Proven record of impactful lean manufacturing principles, process optimization, and supply chain management Proven record leading high-trust, high-performing cultures Bachelor's degree in operations management, business, engineering, or related field Medical device and regulated product experience a plus Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (FDA, EPA, ISO 13485) a plus Experience operating in ERP/WMS, NetSuite & RF Smart a plus Formal lean certification a plus Salary & Benefits: Salary range of $160,000 to $190,000 plus annual bonus based on performance/profitability Company paid medical/vision/dental premiums for Employees with flex options 4% Pre-Tax Employer Match 401k Accrued Paid time off (PTO) earning up to 4 weeks annually 9 • Paid holidays A thriving culture – we believe in hard work and celebrating each other's wins A place to expand – our company is quickly-growing within a dynamic market and new opportunities for responsibility About ProEdge Dental Water Labs: ProEdge Dental Water Labs is a healthy, high-growth, dynamic company, located in the Denver metro area.
