JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Responsible for managing the front of house operations for the Restaurant and Front Desk Operations.  * Providing training, direction, supervision and hands on support  * Direct associates and supervisors to accomplish goals and objectives of the food and beverage operation and Front Desk Operations. * Ensure the proper preparation of food and beverages to the satisfaction of our guests, brand and ensures all safety, health and hygiene requirements are consistently met  * Hires, coaches and disciplines direct reports.  * Inventory, ordering supplies  * Acts as the "Service Champion" for the Front Office and creates a positive atmosphere for guest relations  * Ensures recognition of employees is taking place across areas of responsibility.  * Reviews staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met.  * Reviews comment cards, guest satisfaction results and other data to identify areas of improvement.  * Solicits employee feedback, utilizes an "open door" policy, and reviews employee satisfaction results to identify and address employee problems or concerns.  * Regularly reviews department budget to meet budgeted wages and general expenses.  * Monitors VIP arrivals.  * Acts as Manager on Duty as required.  * Works nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.  * Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives  * * * KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES * Basic math skills  * Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing  * Strong leadership skills  * Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members  * Excellent time management skills  * In-depth knowledge of hotel Front Desk operations and Food and Beverage Operations.  EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * Minimum of a high school diploma or certificate, post high school education and degree preferred  * Minimum of three (3) years in similar leadership role. (I.E. Operations Manager, Front desk supervisor, Food and Beverage Manager, etc.)  *The hiring process may consist of a phone interview, manager(s) interview, drug screen, background check, reference checks, and potential employment assessment.
