QUALIFICATIONS & WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in outreach, business development, or field marketing, ideally in healthcare or behavioral health.
  • Proven success and history leading geographically dispersed teams, with a track record of effective remote team management and strategic oversight.
  • High comfort level using Salesforce, Power BI, and Badger to drive decisions.
  • Strong understanding of ABA therapy or a demonstrated ability to lead in a clinical environment.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and networking skills across healthcare providers, referral sources, and community stakeholders.
  • Track record of driving referral growth and executing outreach strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly across assigned regions to support team members, provider relationships, and new market launches.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and strategic in managing competing priorities across fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

The Director of Outreach is a strategic and inspiring leader who empowers teams, builds high-impact relationships, and drives referral growth across multiple markets. More than a manager of activity, this role is accountable for shaping local outreach strategy, strengthening provider engagement, and partnering across departments to deliver sustained growth. The Director will serve as a key partner to Intake, Marketing and Operations – ensuring alignment, removing silos and delivering a seamless family journey. With proven experience leading through influence and data, the ideal candidate brings expertise in Salesforce, Power BI, and Badger to forecast trends, guide execution, and scale field outreach efforts. This leader will also play a pivotal role in launching new markets and building outreach infrastructure as the company expands into additional states.

Outreach Leadership & Community Impact:

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing team of Physician Liaisons to position Behavioral Innovations as the provider of choice in every community served.
  • Set vision and strategy for market-specific outreach plans that build awareness, trust, and referral growth.
  • Serve as a visible community leader by attending key events, establishing presence in new markets, and advocating for access to ABA therapy.
  • Support center launches and expansion efforts by activating referral networks and ensuring a strong local market entry strategy.
  • Strategic Partnerships & Referral Growth
  • Cultivate and sustain meaningful partnerships with pediatricians, diagnosticians, schools, therapists, and other community stakeholders.
  • Drive referral pipeline growth through high-trust relationships and consistent, value-driven provider engagement.
  • Actively identify new partnership opportunities and create plans to expand the organization’s influence in priority markets.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Serve as a key partner to Intake, Marketing, and Operations to ensure alignment, seamless family transitions, and closed-loop communication.
  • Collaborate with Intake to optimize referral conversion and support smooth onboarding experiences for new families.
  • Partner with Marketing to co-create tailored collateral and campaigns aligned with local outreach goals and community needs.
  • Analytics, Forecasting & Reporting
  • Leverage Salesforce, Power BI, and Badger to monitor performance, forecast referral growth, and inform data-driven decisions.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and scorecards that measure market penetration, referral trends, and outreach ROI.
  • Regularly report results, insights, and opportunities to senior leadership.
  • Team Development & Expansion
  • Provide virtual and in-market coaching to support growth, accountability, and excellence within the outreach team.
  • Lead onboarding and market readiness for new Physician Liaisons as the team scales into additional states.
  • Champion a culture of feedback, collaboration, and innovation to continually raise performance standards.
  • Compliance, Ethics & Industry Excellence
  • Ensure outreach activities comply with all company policies, HIPAA regulations, and industry standards.
  • Stay current on ABA industry trends, referral patterns, and market dynamics to continuously refine strategy.
