We are looking for a Director of Payroll to lead our payroll operations and ensure the timely and precise processing of employee compensation and benefits. REQUIREMENTS:

• Complex knowledge of payroll processing and related tax laws and regulations.
• Payroll experience in a unionized environment is strongly preferred
• Proven ability to supervise and mentor a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.High attention to detail and confidentiality.

• Lead & Supervise: Oversee the Payroll Specialist and manage the timely processing of biweekly payroll. Conduct performance evaluations and ensure continuous improvement.
• Collaborate Across Departments: Partner with HR, Business Office, and third-party payroll providers to ensure smooth and compliant payroll operations.
• Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure adherence to wage laws, tax regulations, and internal policies while managing payroll, benefits deductions, and reconciliations.
• Process Optimization: Work with vendors to implement efficiencies that reduce manual processes and address any technical challenges.
• Data Integrity: Ensure accurate payroll data coding and support audits by providing detailed payroll records and reconciliations.Employee Support: Serve as the go-to resource for payroll-related inquiries and promptly resolve issues.
