Job Description How does your working day look like … As the Director of People & Culture, you're not just heading People & Culture—you’re shaping the soul of the hotel. You’ll lead with empathy, creativity, and strategy to foster a culture where our team members thrive, and our guest experience shines through empowered people. You will be the strategic partner to the leadership team and the cultural guardian of our workplace. Champion and embody the unique 25hours spirit, embedding it into all People & Culture touchpoints. Drive team member engagement initiatives, from creative onboarding experiences to fun, inclusive events. Act as a cultural ambassador—creating an environment of belonging, diversity, and authenticity. Partner with the General Manager, Executive Team, and Corporate team to develop and implement people strategies aligned with the hotel's business goals. Lead talent planning, succession management, and workforce development efforts. Build leadership capability across departments through coaching, mentoring, and targeted development programs. Lead recruitment and onboarding efforts to attract top talent who align with our values. Ensure seamless hiring processes while maintaining a unique and welcoming candidate experience. Promote employer branding efforts that showcase 25hours Dubai as a great place to work. Design and implement learning programs that upskill, inspire, and retain our team members. Nurture career development pathways in collaboration with department heads. Foster a continuous learning culture that reflects curiosity and growth. Oversee all People & Culture operations including payroll, benefits, employee relations, and compliance with UAE labour laws. Lead performance management cycles and ensure alignment between performance, rewards, and career development. Monitor key People & Culture metrics and use data-driven insights to guide decisions. Qualifications Your personality counts more than your CV … At least 5 years of HR leadership experience in the hospitality or lifestyle hotel sector. Experience working in the UAE or GCC, with strong knowledge of local labour regulations. A modern HR mindset—balancing empathy and culture with analytics and strategy. Passionate about people, design, storytelling, and the guest journey. Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
