Job Description We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and people-focused Director of People & Culture (P&C) to lead the pre-opening and launch of all human resources and organizational development initiatives at Tivoli Bilaj Al Jazayer Bahrain Resort and Avani Bilaj Al Jazayer Bahrain Resort. This senior leadership role is responsible for building the hotel’s workforce from the ground up, establishing a strong organizational culture, and ensuring that all P&C processes and programs support operational excellence and employee engagement from day one. Key Responsibilities Lead all pre-opening HR and P&C planning, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and team structure across all departments. Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and SOPs in line with brand standards, local labor laws, and organizational culture goals. Build and maintain a strong pre-opening recruitment pipeline, ensuring timely hiring of skilled and motivated talent. Design and execute comprehensive training and development programs to ensure all team members are prepared for opening and operational excellence. Foster a positive, inclusive, and performance-driven culture aligned with the values of Tivoli and Avani brands. Oversee payroll, benefits administration, performance management, and employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor regulations. Provide guidance and support to departmental leaders on HR matters, conflict resolution, and talent management. Develop succession planning and career development strategies for key positions. Collaborate closely with the Hotel Manager and ownership to align P&C strategies with business goals. Implement HR systems, reporting mechanisms, and metrics to monitor workforce performance, engagement, and retention. This role is ideal for a pre-opening P&C leader with strong hospitality experience, proven recruitment and organizational development skills, and the ability to create a high-performing and engaged workforce from day one. Qualifications At least Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management or any related fields At least 5 years experiences in international companies with evidence tracked record of achievements. Strong in interpersonal and communication skills.
