A bit about the role As our Director of Performance Marketing within our Global Growth Marketing organisation, you will lead the team that includes the Performance Marketing Channel Squads (Paid Social, Search) and oversee the functional ownership of Growth Creative Strategy. By leveraging your people and cross-functional leadership skills, you will drive a global culture of experimentation across all performance marketing channels. You’ll also create a flywheel of global-local success by empowering local Growth Leads and Performance Creative specialists across our primary in-market teams in AU, US/Canada and the UK, owning build-out of frameworks, reporting cadences, and an experimentation culture that ensures creativity is a measured, testable driver of ROI and a key lever for growth across all markets. Reporting to the GM, Global Growth Marketing, you will be a thought partner responsible for turning data-based insights on cross-channel performance and creative strategies that ladder up to a world-class acquisition engine and key input into the broader team’s full-funnel goals within Global Growth Marketing. This role sits in the sweet spot of performance marketing, data analysis, creative intuition, and commercial strategy. Building systems that help our teams maximise channel performance and leverage creativity as something measurable, testable, and a decisive driver of ROI will have cross-cutting impact across the entire business, and most importantly, brings Who Gives A Crap closer to realising its purpose. If you worked here this past month here are some things you might have been involved in Coached channel squad leads to unlock growth while ensuring unified workflows across media buying (audiences, bidding, budget allocation) and creative strategy (messaging, formats, hooks) to maximise campaign performance. Partnering with the GM, Global Growth Marketing, to translate our quarterly business objective into a series of testable hypotheses for our paid media and lifecycle channels. Led a deep dive analysis of performance data, moving beyond surface metrics (CTR/ROAS) to interpret creative fatigue curves, cohort retention, and the full-funnel impact to optimise for LTV. Designed the end-to-end system for rapid creative iteration, moving beyond basic A/B testing to implement robust experimentation frameworks (e.g., ICE/RICE) across paid media and CRM channels. Presented your analysis to the creative, and executive team, creating a compelling story that connects your creative testing framework directly to new customer incrementality. Spent time pursuing your fave Substacks to monitor recent advert platform changes, customer insights, and market trends. Built a holistic creative reporting dashboard that provides a single source of truth on performance for partners across creative, brand, and local markets. Dug into both external and internal data to analyse consumer behaviour, competitor activity, market trends and ad performance to inform the performance marketing strategy & experimentation roadmap. Develop insight packed briefs for the creative team, giving them clear direction outlining objectives, target audience, and key messages.
