Description

The Director Performance Marketing & Strategy is a data-driven leader who will oversee and drive our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) e-commerce strategy across all DTC platforms including Amazon 3P, marketplaces, and Nordic.com, ensuring alignment with our broader omnichannel strategy. This role is critical in driving e-commerce growth while collaborating and supporting cross functional alignment with retail/brick-and-mortar success, maximizing DTC sales, profit, and market share, while protecting our premium pricing strategy and minimizing grey market activity. In this position, you will leverage data insights and provide lower & mid funnel DTC media strategy to support growth, while continuously analyzing performance to enhance and improve performance. You will lead the DTC demand generation strategy with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making. You will be responsible for providing ongoing analysis to support growth initiatives, ensuring that strategies are rooted in performance metrics and consumer insights. By aligning with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that e-commerce growth complements our omnichannel business and that all initiatives are guided by robust data analysis.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, or related field (MBA Preferred); or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required
  • 8+ years eCommerce experience required
  • 3+ years in a direct leadership role
  • Several years of demonstrated Amazon.com seller central success, as well as experience with other 3rd party marketplaces required
  • Expert experience with ChannelAdvisor and Shopify Plus, preferred
  • Experience administering with Shopify Apps, SAP, Domo, middleware, and management of multiple 3rd party agencies and saas, preferred
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high growth, high expectation environment
