Director of Pharmacy Position: Full-Time Salary: $187,000–$210,000 per year Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Location: Oakland, CA Position Summary We’re seeking a Director of Pharmacy to provide visionary leadership across two community health sites in California. The ideal candidate will balance operational excellence with compassionate care, guiding teams to deliver safe and effective pharmacy services. Acting as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC), this role leads compliance initiatives, manages the 340B Program, and ensures every decision supports both patients and practitioners. Responsibilities Oversee pharmacy operations to maintain compliance with California Board of Pharmacy standards. Serve as PIC, leading all quality and licensing activities. Administer the 340B Drug Pricing Program with full HRSA compliance. Lead the P&T Committee in driving formulary integrity and safety. Mentor and develop pharmacy staff, residents, and externs. Manage procurement, inventory, and vendor relationships. Partner with providers to enhance medication access and patient care. PharmD or BPharm degree. Active California Pharmacist license. Minimum of 5 years in pharmacy practice; community or FQHC experience preferred. Experience managing the 340B Program required; PIC experience a plus. Strong leadership and mentoring abilities. Spanish-speaking preferred. Annual salary: $187,000–$210,000. Two weeks PTO. Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance. 401(k) with 3% employer match.
