The Director of Pharmacy will lead all aspects of pharmacy operations, including planning, organizing, and supervising services in alignment with hospital policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with hospital leadership to implement innovative pharmacy practices, supported by proprietary CPS software, a dedicated support team including experts in operations, clinical, and regulatory as well as a CPS Area Director or Senior Vice President. Pharmacy Location: Located within Ethan Crossing of Indianapolis, 4102 Shore Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46254 Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: ACPE-accredited pharmacy degree (PharmD preferred) Active Indiana state Pharmacist license in good standing or willing to be licensed in the state 2+ years of pharmacy management experience working in an acute care hospital setting Demonstrated ability to provide strategic leadership and oversight for all pharmacy services within a single hospital, aligning operations with the hospital’s clinical, quality, and financial goals Demonstrated ability to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based medication use, overseeing clinical pharmacy practice, medication safety, and formulary management Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and hold accountability for pharmacy leadership and staff, including managers, pharmacists, technicians, and support teams Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and legal requirements, including Joint Commission, CMS, USP, BOP and state/federal laws Demonstrated ability to oversee pharmacy financial performance, including budgeting, purchasing, contract management, and cost-containment initiatives Demonstrated ability to collaborate with executive leadership and interdisciplinary stakeholders, supporting system-wide patient care, quality, and safety initiatives Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, performance improvement, and strategic growth, leveraging data, technology, and best practices to advance pharmacy services Required Qualifications: 3+ years of pharmacy management experience working in an acute care hospital setting 3+ years of experience as a pharmacist in an acute care hospital setting preferred Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
