The Four Seasons Resort O’ahu at Ko Olina is looking for a Director of Pool & Beach who has a passion for excellence and the spirit of aloha.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Director of Pool and Beach reports directly to the Assistant Director of F&B and is responsible for s upervising the work of employees while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This includes managing the recreational experience, food and beverage service, and poolside amenities at Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Recreation Department to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.
• The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, residents, and group contacts.
• The ability to forecast labor and scheduling needs to maintain all departmental standards during periods of high occupancy.
• The ability to develop and define product specifics for each pool. Executing a business plan, which promotes departmental and resort profitability.
• Ensure quality of all food & beverage items, amenities, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as restock and organize all products and equipment to an attentive and distinctive experience in Recreation.
• Quality checks all guests to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings to ensure effective communication and cooperation with staff.
• Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the department and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.
