We're seeking an exceptional Director of Product to lead strategic product initiatives that will shape the future of AI-powered cardiovascular and pulmonary diagnostics. In this high-impact role, reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, you'll drive product strategy, manage a team of product managers, and work cross-functionally to deliver products that help clinicians save lives through earlier detection of heart and lung disease. This role is ideal for a product leader who thrives at the intersection of healthcare, AI/ML, and consumer-grade user experience, and who is passionate about building products that make a tangible difference in patient outcomes. \n As Director of Product at Eko, You Will: Strategic Leadership Define and execute product vision and multi-year roadmap for Eko's digital stethoscope hardware, software platform, and AI-powered detection algorithms Lead product strategy for expanding our FDA-cleared AI capabilities, including murmur detection, AFib detection, and low ejection fraction identification Identify new market opportunities and product expansion areas in cardiovascular and pulmonary care Drive product-market fit analysis and go-to-market strategies for new features and products Partner with executive leadership to align product strategy with company goals and market dynamics Team Leadership & Development Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of product managers Foster a culture of innovation, data-driven decision making, and customer empathy Provide coaching and career development for team members Establish product management best practices, processes, and frameworks Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Engineering, Data Science/AI, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams Work with Clinical Affairs and Medical Affairs to ensure products meet clinical validation standards and drive meaningful health outcomes Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs to navigate FDA clearance processes for new AI algorithms and device features Engage with Design to create intuitive, clinician-friendly user experiences Support Sales and Marketing with product positioning, competitive intelligence, and customer insights Product Execution Own the product development lifecycle from ideation through launch and iteration Drive prioritization decisions based on customer needs, business value, and technical feasibility Define success metrics and establish data-driven frameworks to measure product performance Conduct user research with healthcare providers to deeply understand clinical workflows and pain points Champion voice-of-customer throughout the organization Healthcare Technology Expertise Navigate the complex healthcare ecosystem including hospitals, health systems, payers, and individual practitioners Understand clinical workflows, reimbursement landscapes, and healthcare IT infrastructure Drive integration strategies with EMR/EHR systems and healthcare platforms Stay current on regulatory requirements, clinical evidence standards, and healthcare technology trends As Director of Product at Eko, You Have: 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years leading product teams 5+ years in healthcare technology, medical devices, digital health, or AI/ML products Proven track record of launching successful B2B healthcare products at scale Deep understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare provider needs Experience with FDA-regulated products or medical device development Strong technical acumen with ability to work effectively with engineering and data science teams Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred As Director of Product at Eko, Preferred Qualifications: Experience with AI/ML products, particularly in healthcare diagnostics or clinical decision support Background in cardiovascular, pulmonary, or diagnostic medicine Track record working in high-growth, venture-backed companies Experience with SaaS business models and subscription products Familiarity with telehealth or remote patient monitoring solutions Understanding of healthcare reimbursement and CPT coding Benefits and Perks We Offer: The opportunity to work on products that impact the health of millions of people.
