What role will you play?
As the Director of Product for Engineering Excellence, you will play a strategic role in enhancing developer experience, fostering collaboration across teams, and ensuring platform teams operate with a customer-centric (developer-first) mindset. You will develop initiatives such as establishing developer guilds to elicit and represent engineering needs and pain points, capture engineering sentiment, but also gather metrics from our tooling, that will help you understand what the biggest areas of focus should be. You will play a crucial role in capturing and nurturing Engineering innovations, transforming them into impactful, bank-wide offerings

What you offer

• Extensive experience leading engineering teams and a deep understanding of software development practices.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategies, manage complex engineering initiatives, and optimize resources.
• Strong ‘product thinking’ mindset with experience in performing interviews, doing research, measuring, understanding addressable market and prioritising based on cost-benefits.

• Evidence of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.Experience working in a dynamic and highly agile environment.
